These juicy and tender meatballs are cooked in the Italian-American style. They have a traditional tomato sauce on top, are soft, stuffed with cheese and spices, and ground beef and pork.
A baking sheet covered with foil and gently sprayed with cooking spray.
Add milk to a small bowl and soak breadcrumbs for 20 minutes.
Onion is tossed in a skillet of hot olive oil over moderate flame. About 5 minutes should pass between stirring and cooking until the onion is tender and transparent. Cooking and stirring should continue for another 15 minutes on low heat until the onion is very soft.
In a large bowl, gently toss the meat and pork together (do not over-mix). With a slotted spoon, stir the meat mixture with the onions, breadcrumb mixture, parsley, eggs, garlic, salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper, Italian herb seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Cover and chill rest for 1 hour.
Set the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees C).
Using damp fingertips Form the meat mixture into balls with a diameter of about 1 1/2 inches. Place on the baking sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated oven or until golden and baked completely.
